London - I

The British Museum... free since 1753! Enormous museum - as I found out after spending an hour in just one wing before I stepped into the Grand Court...

I mainly saw the Egyptian, Greek, and other Bronze - Iron age exhibits. Started off with the Egyptians - because, hey, who doesn't like mummies? Of course, as we all know, the Egyptians most important contribution to modern culture is... beer! Shown here on the left, this statue was found in a tomb.
